I am a one man band. I have several influences on my style but I generally trend to groove. I play metal, rock, hard rock, celtic, acoustic rock, hip hop, etc. I'm a musician and I feel to be a GOOD musician it helps to be well rounded and appreciate all forms.
My Music
About gnAw music....

I set out to make totally complete songs. Even though I am not an expert on all things music, I don't want the listener to feel left out. I also want to complete the concept of the song. I know that I am not the best vocalist out there, but I do try and without having some lyrics in there, I feel that the concept of the effort will be lost on the listener. I know that some artists are out to sell beats, or just do a lot of instrumentals (which is fine), but that's just not my style. I put a lot of time and energy into creating each song. Getting the drums just right. Putting just the right guitar riffs down. Do the guitars have enough flair. Is the hook strong enough or just mediocre? Has it been done to death by other bands already. Getting the bass guitar to match the drums and/or the guitar (depending on the song). What type of effects, how loud, how subtle. What type of vocal style would sound the best with this song. That's pretty much the order in how I develop the music. Usually drums will come first. Then I'll jam over it with the guitar until I get something catchy. Then I will lay the bass down, then effects. Next I'll do some basic mixing and tweaking of the arrangement. Finally the vocals. Doing music on my own is a challenge as I don't have much input from others in the creative process, which at the same time is liberating. Also, my songs need to be more structured because I'm doing it alone. In years past, I've written many songs that evolved from extended jam sessions. Being solo (rogue?) that is much more difficult. But this is what you hear. On the latest compilation I'm working on, The Apocalyptic Delusion, I'm trying to keep the message focused and maintain a central theme. We all create and/or go through our own little "apocalypses" or chaotic periods, but usually the chaos or "apocalypse" is overcome-able. I've had my share and I try to write my lessons and learnings in each song. With that in mind, I hope everyone enjoys gnAw and The Apocalyptic Delusion. Geoff Watson www.soundclick.com/gnawusa

Hey all. I'm also available for any collaborative work. I am looking to do some vocals on any tracks, any style and I can add guitar, synth, beats, etc to any other song that you may have. Or I can provide music and beats that need vocals. I just want to work with others online and see what we can come up with.
