Big Shot born Benjamin Cruz Nov. 27th, 1985 in Las Vegas NV grew up in Rapid City, SD. Had a taste for rap and hip hop music at a young age as well as many other types of music. Started writin rhymes as jokes to spit for people on the school bus and at school. I put it down for a long time because I never saw myself doing it as a career. I went through a lot of pain in my life from losin family to gettin hit by a car. After my mother passed away I just didn't give a fuck and felt like I had nothing to lose. I was always big into psycopathic records and that lead up to me discovering Tech N9ne. I always loved Busta Rhymes, Do or Die, and Bone Thugs, but Tech N9ne brought the clarity to the words for me. Finding out that I could rap Tech N9nes Breathe with out the song playing made me realize that I could do this. Fed up with the bs on the radio and tv I started creating my own music.
