Born in Vancouver BC with 9 brothers and sisters. Turned on to bluegrass by my sister Trisha (bass player for John Reischman and the Jaybirds) when I was 15. Fell in love with it when I heard Tim O'Brien sing three years later. Love my rock music too though.
Married with two kids, planning my first full tour in year, just completed my first solo folk americana record after having done 4 bluegrass CDs with my Canadian band Tumbleweed.
Currently living in Long Beach CA.
