Parables - my debut album - story and free album download
I have been writing songs for quite some time now, nearly 10 years. They have changed quite a bit over the years, it makes me laugh when I read some of them now. For example - I have no job and I earn no pay but a genuine smile I have all day, they say I'm lazy and they say I'm sad but my times my own and that's not bad. Hahaha love it, it's easy to guess I was unemployed and off my head when I wrote that, playing it proudly to my parents thinking I was smart...
Anyway the time came, I had to make an album to get some songs out or I was gonna have to shoot myself. I had been thinking, all these songs, if i die they are coming with me. So, not happy with that I made an album so my voice could be about to torture people for ever after I'm gone. hehe
Really tho, I believe in music and I believe it is powerful in many ways, it can touch our hearts and change how we see and feel at times. I often see lonely people, hurting people going through what I have been through. So I get these feelings that I want to help and I often talk to people. But when i'm alone and feeling it, I reach for my guitar. Songs follow, like "Lonely Man" I wrote that when I got home from a friends funeral, he hung himself and left two kids, a wife and a loving family behind. Why, I dunno where's my guitar, before I know it "Lonely Man" is finished.
This is how all the songs on this album came about. I hope you enjoy it.
