I'm not latin, but I was raised around a lot of people from different cultures. I learned Spanish when I was 11. I've been singing in talent shows all my life. I loved me some Whitney Houston! I have been playing classical, jazz, and improvisational violin for a long time. I played in the USM Symphony Orchestra for five years. Ask me why I haven't added the violin to my single.
I have a few good friends and I am social around them. I am in Sigma Alpha Iota, the music fraternity for women. We are working on getting an alumni chapter.
I love to support new artists and anyone who is original and is a songwriter. Ask me about my songs I've written.
I am a self-declared poet. I support Seven Studioz in Jackson, MS. I've only had the pleasure of going to one open mic, but the atmosphere left an impression on me.
I am working on a book of poetry and an accompanying CD with my voice saying the poems. All about, will be on the CD. I would love to get on with Def Poetry Jam and poetry slams.
