Musically started with violin at age 10. Was the concert master violinst for the San Francisco Youth Symphony and conducted the S.F. Symphony orchestra at the S.F. Symphony Hall at age 11. Figured I couldn't bring the violin to the beach, so switched to banjo, guitar, and mandolin. Formed a folk trio in 1961 (The Windy Hill Singers.. check out our Soundclick site at www.soundclick.com INVALID heWindyHillSingers).
