Kapital K was born Hakeem Karee Brown in North Charleston, SC. He is well known for being the founder of the 21 Gunz label/collective. He is also the founder of the Hannibal Mob and 1/2 of The Empty Seven duo. Kapital K is a underground musician from Charleston, SC. He prides himself on not only making his tracks real and from the heart, but also for being very versatile. He likes to believe that he is not just simply a rapper, but an overall true artist. He is known for his dark lyrics and his multi-syllabic rhyme scheme, a trait shared with friend and labelmate GAZA (one reason for the formation of The Empty Seven).
