Coming from a predominately 1st generation asain influenced community. "Troublez" was instantly over looked by his entire city and automaticly labeled an eye sore to the city, because he was of latino descent, fit the stereotype as far as an image of a gang banger goes, and his academic record showed no different sign then that of a failure. He was imediatly out casted from his community in his first year of high school. He then seeked a means of expression through the art of poetry and hip hop."Troublez" or Steven T Gonzalez was abandoned by his father at the age of 8 or so. He was raised in an inner city community called Alhambra where graffiti, violence,theft & drug use were a common part of life. Steven had many close calls with the law, some he could walk away from with pride, others that left him doubting the integrity of the justice system. Steve Says "The hardest part of having people understand where I'm coming from is that when i say i had a rough life, people's automatic response is that of skepticism." Steve concluded "That although i may have a roof over my head and at least had my mother around, the living accomidations where anything but pleasant and anything but believable so i decided to make an adavance in my life." So Steve or "Troublez" persued his rap career through any means necessary doing what it took to get the respect of his peers and many others in his community. He has encountered many set backs andwas put in very compromising postions, but never giving up he succeeded in making a positive name for himself in history. Now his goal is to get signed to a ladgit label and to sell as many units as possible...
