Cali Smoov is child of the West Los Angeles streets.
He grew up in and out of everything from foster care to group homes. As an escape he turned to hip-hop music! Cali Smoov experienced a stereotypical "hood" life growing up surrounded by crime and poverty. This became his motivation to succeed in spite of all obstacles. Cali Smoov has stayed dedicated and focused on perfecting his craft. He has promoted his music via the internet (Over 1,000,000 total views on Youtube), showcases, tours, and mixtapes. At 13, Cali Smoov moved to The Southside of Chicago, Illinois, where he got his first taste of independence. In Chicago, Cali was exposed to selling drugs, gang banging, and violence as a way of life. At 18 Cali moved back to Los Angeles leaving the street life behind him to pursue his passion, MUSIC! Cali is developing an even stronger Worldwide fan base!
