My name is Lee Shepherd and I love creating poetry and short stories. Over the last few years I have had the opportunity to have my spoken word form accompanied by my husband Vernal Shepherd. He puts the soundtracks behind my poetry and we have come up with a very unique sound and style. Although others are doing the same type of things I feel that we have hit upon something that is one of a kind. I have several cds that were produced by Vernal and our record label, VSJ Records. I also tried some acting this past summer by taking on the role of Nora Jones for a movied titled "New Vision" that was produced by KTF Productions. One of the poems that I wrote several years ago titled "Decisions" was featured in two episodes of CSI New York, the episodes are "Iced" and the "Closer." The poetry itself is not featured only the music but we take what we can get. I also am a speaker at my church and I do take on other speaking engagements discussing the Bible and reciting poetry.
