When he was young, Rick Code couldn’t rap to save his life. Once he turned 15, something changed. It began to make sense. It became easier for him. He put his emotions into his rap style. It started in high school where he would battle rap with people around the school. Before he knew it, he was the king of rap.
Once in college, he wanted to let people hear his rap without letting them know who the artist was. They loved it. They thought he had been on Def Jam or something like that. Once he knew that he had something special, he began utilizing techniques to record in a very creative way. And thus began the era of Rick Code.
His new single, “Only Money Moves Me”, is off of his new CD, “Finally Forever”. His analogy is no matter what you write, it’s going to be out there forever – whether it is great or it flops. And have no doubt that once this album is released, Rick Code will be remembered forever! “Only Money Moves Me is a song I wanted to make that wasn’t about bragging rights – but that everyone could relate to on a common level. What’s better than Money?”
This particular song, as are all his songs, have very catchy tunes. Rick Code is creative in his recording to keep himself ahead of the game. The beats and rhythms are great. The vocals are very creative, which I love. These tunes are great to dance to.
