I'm just an Old School hippie... I started playing guitar in the 8th grade and wrote my first song at 18. Just 3 years later, in Santa Barbara, Ca. I became a street musician. It was the constant comments, praises even unsolicited money from passers by that made me think maybe I ought to do more towards getting a larger audience.
But, as it goes, I met a woman, started living with her, then started a job Programming computers for the DOD, the DOE, USDA, the Forest Service etc...
Now, some 30 years later, I made it to Soundclick.Com. Thanks to a friend who did the recording, editing and posting in October of 2003. I guess it's a good first step.
What do I like to do, well there's writing/playing music, Karaoke, Whipping smart assed pool sharks who think they're 'All That", kicking it with my buds, fixing computers in a flash when the "Professionals" say it can't be fixed (damn rookies), helping family, friends and others. Spending hours talking about philosophy and other such notions over coffee...

Sittin here alone I wonder what became of all the friends that I used to know where ever did they go Long ago we joked and laughed at all the things we did in dreams and though, not gone, they somehow have moved along And with the pages turning through the stages we are learning how to find the truth and in trade we lose the youth that we had long ago when we were free to do most anything we dared to do cause we really didn't know cause we really didn't know As I'm looking back I see the things that I didn't do but should have done and some I did that I really shouldn't have. Now I try again to see the destination meant for me is far ahead there's so much to be said And with the pages turning through the stages we are learning how to find the truth and in trade we lose the youth that we had long ago when we were free to do most anything we dared to do cause we really didn't know cause we really didn't know Paul A.
