Grew up with a really good music scene in Seattle. Atoms of an Addict was the first band, with my friend Danny Mullen (Star Duff, Solar Power Radio, Lick Like a Lion) played Drums. The band was a 2 piece Post Rock Instrumental band influenced by ISIS, Tool, Radiohead, Mogwai, Pelican, and a lot of delay and loops.
After I started playing with a group Lick Like a Lion an Experimental Instrumental Band which started as a 3 piece, Ricky Wilson (Bass, FX, Moog Synth) and Scotti Wilson (Drums, Djembe, Didgeridoo. Nut ended as a 7 piece band with Tony Alecci (Solar Power Radio), Demi Wilson (Cymmetrics), Jonny Cole (Sparse, Niburu), and Danny Mullen. During this time I started heavily getting into beats and electronics. Was given Reason 3.0 and was addicted.
During the time period with Lick Like a Lion I started Atoms of an Addict back up again in early 2007. The music was all computer based electronica. The music was a way of transferring my guitar lines to a midi controller with Reason. Lush, Trip Hop, IDM sound I was adapting to. Mapping beats, glitch, and robotic drum samples. Many Influences like Textual, Aphex Twin, Ant, Cut Chemist, DJ Premier, Tycho, Lymbyc Systym, and The Octopus Project have inspired me to make this music. I thank them a great deal. Hope you Enjoy
