I first saw the henning amp at the mod squad video on youtube. That amp is f***ing sweet!
I had plans on building an 1987 (50watt plexi) myself and mod it. But after seeing your amp i wanted to get more into it. I have been comparising a few marshall schematics and the plexi, jmp and jcm800 are basicly the same with some adjustments. I want the possibility of switching between these 3 amps standard schematics. So i have 3 tube for the plexi, but i have to add one stage for the 800. This means i have one gainstage spare, i want to mod this to my taste. I was wondering if your schematic at plexrod is a basic plexi with just one gainstage added? I really love the sound of that channel.
Big story haha, i really love your amp sounds. I wanted to figure it out myself but all the schematics on rig talk work except for the preamp.
