5ive Starz Was Born Jawaenza Thomas on June 1st, 1982 to Floyd and Geraldine Thomas at Opelousas General Hospital in Opelousas Louisiana. Through his years reading and english were his favorite subjects regarding education. He grew and while doing such much changed about him. The Story of 5ive is simple. As a young man he was raised In the roughest section of his city”Hilltown”..Troubled Youth, numerous jail visits, considered rambunctious, but bright as the sun when it came to writing hooks, reports, reading ,remembering, and reciting music..Upon leaving High school he joined the US Military and began searching for recording studios while in the new city of Norfolk Virginia..In 2004 he along with newly found friends Dubbs Lane, S.L.A.P, & Slic The Ripper decided to form a group called I-10 connection while residing in VA..While with the group he dropped his first mixtape titled the “OP Ambassador”. The Group Disbanded in 2006 Due To The Relocation of Half The Members, along with creative differences, that at the time could not be worked out. He Went Solo, and Moved To Houston and Joined Forces with Dinero, Freddy T,

I take my craft so serious it aint funny...I get alot of beats from people here just to kill they song cause I can..I aint cocky but I am confident that I can rap cirles around half the niggaz out..My style is like no other but can be compared to HOV, TI, LUDA, and Wayne.. This is what I hate...I hate niggaz that rap to get in clubs free, or rap just to say they rap..It is an art to some of us and u non rappin muthafuckas make it hard for real niggaz to get in this game..Luckily I have eyes on me all the time and that does not matter to me but these are my thoughts and i just thought u should know...I am a GOD fearing man but nothing else on this earth scares me...Remember that if u think u bout to come at me on some wild shit..Big tall skinny or small, all comers are welcomed and I can be touched but I be damned if u aint gon leave wit some type of injury..Metaphoric or physically...I said all that to say watch me evolve and take notes niggaz..Dont hate on me..if u want to do a song im game, no charge..if u want to give me a beat to kill, no problem..if u just wanna talk about life save it for someone who cares...I am 5ive
