KELZ released his debut album, *The Main Event,* at age 16. In 2007, a more mature KELZ entered the music scene with the release of the single *Ye Ain*t Bout Dat.* The *Ye Ain*t Bout Dat* single did very well for KELZ and debuted on the BILLBOARD music charts at #7 on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Single Sales chart, #21 on the Hot 100 Pop Single Sales Chart, and #89 on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Single Sales Chart. From there the *Ye Ain*t Bout Dat* single continued to climb the charts, peaking at #2 on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop chart, ironically the song crossed over and landed at #7 on the Hot 100 pop chart. The success of the *Ye Ain*t Bout Dat* single lead to KELZ*s first national retail /promo 66 city tour exclusively through the FYE retail chain.
Back with a new sound, and a new look on life, KELZ, recently released his 2nd mixtape, "Mission Control", is preparing fans for his 3rd mixtape "Gang Up," working on his concert tour, and his Gang Affiliated clothing line.
KELZ says, "I want to capture the ears of the masses, and build a loyal fan base of believers, old and new. I*m trying to reach legend status."
