Hey Everyone my name is YolandaChenise aka The Desert Diamond as referred to over here in Arifjan Kuwait. I am currently in the Army, I have been in Kuwait for about 6 months and still have a long way to go. I have 2 beautiful children India and Brennan....( Mommy loves you, misses you and can't wait to see you!!!) I am from St. Louis Mo., but have been living in Virginia for sometime until I got stationed at Ft. Drum NY. I have been singing for quit a while now. I performed at serveral talent and fashion shows while in St. louis, I auditioned for the Virginia Music Conference and Washington DC and I also auditioned for American Idol, however they told me I had a very beautiful voice but I was not what they were looking for. Of course I got discouraged until my father asked me what was I gonna do about my singing career? Was I just gonna give up everytime someone closed a door in my face. After he passed away from lung cancer last year those comments have kept me strong. "Daddy i love you and I will make you proud, if no one else believed in me, you did and for that ,everything I do I do it for you."
