I was originally a visual artist, but electronic sound and music really fascinated me. The first instrument I ever learned was a Buchla modular synth at the old PASS Studios in NYC back in the late 70s. I've been recording electronic pieces on varying equipment ever since. I call them pieces, because they really have more in common with my drawings and watercolors than actual 'music or 'songs''. The pieces I've put up here are some of the first I've made public. Late last year I made the not-so-hard decision to put away all my hardware synths and 'limit' my palette to computer-generated sound. In reality, modern software synths are as flexible and much more powerful than the analog modular synths I grew up on.
