I have been a musician on and off for most of my life, and started playing piano at the age of 6. My first professional gig was at the age of 16 in Toronto Canada, and soon found that this was a lifestyle I could really get into!
For the better part of 20 years, I played in all sorts of bands and music styles. Remember the old 7 piece show bands of the 70's? - dressed in Tuxedos at Hotels and bars like the long gone Brown Derby in Toronto, and the daunting Northern Ontario Canada road trips - that was me! Later I formed a few cover/original rock bands in the 80's, traveling in a custom designed bus across the bar circuit in Ontario. In the late 80's early 90's I joined up with a very talented songwriter and singer in Alternative Country - "The Debbie Jordan Band" and toured Eastern Canada. Finally, a Country Rock duo in bars through Gulf coast Florida.
When all was said and done, I always enjoyed creating my own music - instrumentals that provided the venting of feelings and emotions at points of my life. Originally in the Jazz/Blues venue with overtones of the 50's style rock. This was easy for a solo piano gig, but always still seemed to leave me wanting more.
After a 15 year break from music, a divorce and mid-life crisis, I turned again to music in 2007, setup a very rough keyboard computer studio and started writing again. The songs here are of a new direction and still rough in production, but I hope you enjoy them.
