Scratch DJ ‘JinxC’, formerly known as DJ ‘Vitamin C’, started mixing when he was 15 years old back in 1990, playing Hardcore & Jungle.
He first Started by mixing tapes that he used to borrow off his brother, who was out raving every weekend, After getting a good collection of vinyl He then went on to usng two seperate record decks, using the volume controls as faders, Once he finally got to use technics decks it was like paradise.
His first set was at the legendary Concordes Nightclub in Salisbury, he then went on to mixing at various free parties, bars and nightclubs.
DJ JinxC in the early days was recognised as more of a free party DJ but went on to grace the turntables just about everywhere in Salisbury including large events held at Salisbury Arts Centre and Salisbury Leisure Centre. He has also played out at clubs such as Chaplins; Enzos; The Gallery; Po Na Na; Tremor; The Barn; The Trinity Centre and many more other places located around the Salisbury area.
JinxC has also organised a DJ workshop and trained young people to mix records.
Most recent Bookings have been outside of Salisbury mainly like Flabbergast NYE 2006 In Ipswich and For ‘Firewall’ on the 26th of August 2007 in Bridgewater at the Palace Nightclub.

Money has never been JinxC's priority. Hard currency is always nice of course but it is playing to a crowd that is buzzing to and appreciating his music.
Jinx mainly plays Oldskool, Hardcore & DnB but if requested can play much more.
