Born in Orange County, California, Zig Zag Black was deamed "Tha Professa" at a young age. Blessed with not only unbelievable natural talent but also blessed with the true hands of a musician. You often would catch him listening to the sounds of Aretha Franklin, Herrbie Hancock, Barry White, Dizzy Galezbe, or any jazz instrumentals. His talent to instantly recreate the sound heard was incredible at such a young age.
Growning up in Southern California, Zig Zag Black was an adventurous little boy. Immediately addicted to the West Coast Hip-Hop scene. With influences like NWA, Dr. Dre, Public Enemy, 2PAC and KRS ONE he knew the sky was the limit. All the trials, tribulations, and revelations were now able to be "felt" by others. Zig Zag Black instantly knew his calling.
Staying on the West Coast, Zig Zag Black relocated to Seattle, Washington. Seattle is where Zig Zag Black first started to hit the Hip-Hop scene hard and making his everlasting impression. With special appearances and promotions from the south end to the north end and beyond Zig Zag Black was on deck. Working with some of the most well known and respected artists in the industry, Kejona Mazadi (R.I.P.), DJ YEVS (R.I.P.), CHARLIE LABENZ (R.I.P.), MISSAY RENEE, KP, WEST 1 PRODUCTIONS, TOMMY'S NIGHTCLUB, TRINITY, EARLS ON THE AVE., NICOLAS MILES, AND SEA SICK RECORDS are just to name a few.
