Ly-Fe was born as Courtne'e' to two African American Melissa and Chenacy. She was born on August 11, 1992 in Salisbury, North Carolina @ Rowan. Courtne'e' family discovered her music one day @ a cookout when Courtne'e' just begin rapping. That's when her family called her Lil C so that's what she was going by. When Courtne'e' was in the 6th grade her uncle had meet a woman who had a son that rappers from up North name Turoe that goes by Casper. Her, Capser, and Yung Shine formed a group called "Da Great 1's". After time flew by Casper moved to Concord, NC and Yung Shine moved to Atlanta, GA. They still stayed in touch but went on their own ways. That's when apart of GTS and Infamy become part of her life. After a wild Ly-Fe just got tired of being in all these groups so she just went solo and this is what she is today known as. "Ly-Fe". She got her name from a couple of friends and family members telling her that she rap about alot of real things that get people throw alot so why don't she change her name to Ly-Fe and this is what she did.
Ly-Fe has been doing music since she was a little girl. Reggae music took apart in her life at a very young age. Ly-Fe is a rapper that tells the truth even if it means hurting herself. MUSIC COMING SOON
