I am 68 years old, formerly from New Jersey but I have lived in the Eastern Shore of maryland for about 38 years. I was in the music groups in high school (specifically the Dorians (Dorians means Master Singers in Greek.)) I have been married for almost 38 years to a wonderful woman and we have two grown up children. One lives in Kentucky and one lives here, locally. We, also, have 2 precious grandchildren, a boy and a girl.
I went to electronics school after high school and then into the Navy. I have had many varied jobs in my life. Most of them have been labor jobs; except for my last job was at Black and Decker and I worked on assembly lines, sub-assembly, steel machining, and the gear lab as a technician. They closed up our plant and I retired from there early and moved to Cambridge.
I played in country and old rock and roll bands as a lead guitar player and I loved to play finger style guitar like Chet Atkins. My present favorites are Doyle Dykes (formerly lead guitarist for Grandpa Jones, his daughter Hayley who plays Newgrass on the mandolin, Tommy Emmanuel, cgp.
