Poem by MaryLou...Praise Him Now
May 23, 2008
"Praise Him Now" by...MaryLou 11/21/07 Can you hear that Whip-poor-will Stay and sit very still Hear the echoes of his shrill Look how close... oh what a thrill, See the squirrel in that tree Oh no wait...there's two...no three Look right there...can it be? There are babies...can you see? See the flowers and trees in view All of nature and skies of blue God is good to me and you He gave this world with beauty too, Praise His name...oh Praise Him now Sing a song and take a bow He made it all...we know not how Praise His name...oh Praise Him now.
Poem by MaryLou... Calling To You
May 23, 2008
Calling to You... by...MaryLou She walked alone on a darkened street Fresh fallen snow shuffled beneath her feet... The air tingled on her tiny red nose She shivered as she walked with no winter cloths... She felt so alone in this unknown place Her walk was sluggish at a very slow pace... Her mind was racing so confused and alone Where did she belong, never feeling at home... Salty tears froze as they poured from her eyes So empty and shattered from beatings and lies... She heard a voice and looked all around every where she looked, no one could be found... The voice spoke louder saying you are not alone I am here beside you, till I bring you home... She felt a warmth she had never felt before She knew it was God, speaking from Heaven's door.. She asked to go with Him right then and there His answer was no, for she had words to share... The words within you some day will come out For when this happens you'll know what it's about.. Tell those who suffer with pain and with strife All they really need is God in their life... She knew at that moment she would be alright As the darkness was fading into the morning light... She lived her life as God asked her to Knowing He loved her and His promise was true... On her dying day she saw a bright light Heavenly Angels all around...oh what a sight She no longer suffers or cries in the night She now lives in God's Heavenly light... Know that God loves you with a love pure and true Listen for His voice...He is calling to you.

"Turn Around Now" By... MaryLou You say there's no God It's all a big game... But when things go wrong You give God the blame... Your eyes are blinded Your heart turned to stone... Bitter and hateful You stand there alone... If something goes wrong You'll blame God again... Instead of the violence of ignorant men... When you look around At this beautiful Earth... With Spring in the air And the ground in new birth... The trees and the flowers Bringing forth new growth... Standing in His Glory And renewing His Oath... The Springs gentle breezes And birds of the air... Tell of His Glory His Love they declare... He never promised Life without pain... But trusting in Him We have so much to gain... He sent His Son To show us His Love... So a home we would have Some day up above... His Son suffered And died on that cross... He paid the price At a very high cost... Soften your heart And open your eyes... To our Heavenly Father For you He Cries... There is a God And His day is at hand... Turn around now And take a new stand... Turn around now Before its to late... He's getting ready To open Heaven's Gate... Let Jesus in You'll be glad that you did... From all of your sins You'll finally be rid... Your whole life Will have a new lease... Surrounded with Love, Gentleness, and Peace. MaryLou ~ May 2, 2008 "The Lord upholds all who fall, And raises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look expectantly to You, And You give them their food in due season. You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing. The Lord is righteous in all His ways, Gracious in all His works. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them." Psalm 145:14-19
