Ms. Impress’ passion for music is clearly shown in her lyrics. She represents originality, versatility and most of all longevity. Born in Virginia and raised in Hawaii, Ms. Impress’ style is well-rounded, unique and most of all relatable. Ever since she was a little girl, Ms. Impress had a love for writing, poetry and music. As she got older and began to deal with the different obstacles her life journey would bring, that love developed and grew into a passion for lyrics. Now with 2 years in the game under her belt, Ms. Impress is working towards developing herself as an artist as she shares her passion for music with the world. It is not about the money, nor the fame with Ms. Impress. She does music simply because she loves it and because she hopes her music will help others. Ms. Impress is not just a rapper, she is a lyricist, emcee, poet and much more. With GOD as her foundation, Ms. Impress is determined to use her gift that she has been so graciously blessed with to not only impact the game, but to impact the world. Her very first Mixtape, entitled “Poetic Justice, Vol. 1” was released in October of 2008. She is currently working on Poetic Justice, Vol. 2 and many different secular projects as well as projects in her church.
