I (we) are a high school class studying the history of popular music in America from the mid 19th century, when the influence of African-American music begins to shape American popular music in general, up to the present time. We came across this site as we explored the new ways that popular music is being distributed to the consumer. As part of our class we had created some Garageband tracks and thought it would be fun to create our own account and see what happens. Its been a great experience so far.
