I'm JJ and music is my best friend. I've been doing the singing thing since I was two years old...yeah, that's a long time! I grew up in a small town called Gainesville, GA, where I sang in the church choir. Music is my passion and I love it with all my heart. I am currently an entreprenuership major at Georgia State University. After graduating from college, I want to work in the entertainment industry doing what I do best!! Although I have an interest in business and numbers, my dream has always been to have a singing career. I want to change the music industry by producing a new wave of positive music with groovy and get-up tracks that move the soul. My dream producers are Rodney and "Uncle" Freddie Jerkins (Dark Child), Sean Garrett, PaJam, and Warryn Campbell...just to name a few. I recently released my first CD and I hope everyone enjoys it! I have many goals and I know that my future is brighter than today...GOD TOLD ME SO!! Get ready 'cause you'll see me on TV one day!! Peace
My Music
My debut album, Winding Road, is an exciting project for me!! My whole objective for this album is to simply inspire my generation to get saved, discover who they are, and to walk into what God has ordained for them to do. I also want to reach the older crowd by introducing a new form of expression through my music. If I had to define my style of music, I would say that it has a soulful vibe mixed with soothing harmonies and catchy melodies that capture the mind and ear of my audience. I love to share my gift with everyone; therefore, I created a project that everyone could relate and sing along to. After an intense thought process, I decided to sell my CD for $5 as a way of giving back to my community. I love seeing people happy and being able to change someone’s life by what God has given me! I hope that one day I can look back on this album and still be blessed by the anointing that it holds.
