Lil Hip-hop born ( Larry Shelton ) is a very talented upcoming Houston hip hop artist with an attitude that he feels if he continue to dedicate himself to his talent and culture, that he will become at the least one of Houston’s greatest hip-hop artists, and hopefully a worldwide brand. At the age of six he began to listen to music and really enjoyed the sounds of artists such as 2-Pac, S.U.C, UGK, Z-Ro, Biggie, Master P, Bone Thugs, Krs-1 and plenty of other hip-hop artists; which, in retrospect motivated him to be just like what he seen from his daddy(Hip-Hop). He feels that the hip hop music and culture is his father and inspiration, hints the name “Lil Hip Hop”. While, going through childhood without a father was a great struggle for Lil Hip-hop; the determination to make Hip-Hop proud, led to his dependency on Hip Hop’s music for guidance, street smarts, and some education. By the age of eight he was making his own music through Magix music studio, but really didn’t start taking it more seriously until the age of twelve when he began composing his own lyrics. Lil Hip-hop enjoys creating music that others can relate to no matter their age, gender, or ethnicity background. Most of his music is composed in a story line format so that his fans can understand and relate to the topic or subject matter that’s being expressed. He has held performances in Austin, Texas as well as an abundance of clubs and talent shows around the Houston area. His life long dream is to become a successful musical engineer, artist, and producer. He has joined with a promotional company/ record label K2O Entertainment; which, has supported him and is working along side him in efforts of producing quality, yet enjoyable music to achieve the goals in which he set for himself. He hopes to bring K 2 O Entertainment to new heights and get them well deserved recognition as being the first artist on the K 2 O roster. Lil Hip-hop rehearses and studies his craft both daily and nightly to ensure his music is crisp, enjoyable, honest, and unique. He and his label (K 2 O Entertainment) strive to become a reputable brand in the entertainment/music industry, through perseverance and hard work to permit nothing but the best, for the best is yet to come.
