Brian Wilson...that says it all. Through the years his music has been with me. I greatly appreciate all of his music "periods" and his disciples. Also enjoy the music of Carl and Dennis Wilson. Love the whole surf sound from the 60's. Like almost all music B.D. (before disco). I have even learned to appreciate some of the disco era (Do I need to enter a 12 step program now?)

how have you been?
sorry i haven't been on here much lately. been working 3 jobs 7 days a week to make ends meet.
i got up early this morning to get ready for work and decided enough is enough. i'm calling in sick today and i don't care who reads this. lol

Thalnk-you for your kind comments Tim. I'm so glad you like "A Far Out Place".. Yes I arrange the songs quite carefully, and when I think I've sound the right sound.. then I am finally satisfied. A lot of my arranging is unconscious.. I just *know* when it's right. Hard to explain but there it is..

Its so great to meet a fellow fan of the sound we both love. I have tried SOOOOO hard to sound more contemporary but my heart wasn't really in it. The sound of Laurie, GNG, Matt and others is like hymnody for me. It is wonderful emotional music with an innocent feel and a fun vibration. Thanks for your encouraging comments and most especially for listening!

In my book too... This guy, very professionnal, makes me dream with his songs! Not easy to find an authentic surf/beach sound like that.
Matt have sended me the lyrics for "Can't Reach the Beach" at my request. That's funny, I like it! The good lyrics for a song, that's a job.

Matt have sended me the both songs you mention. At the first listen, I have fallen in love with the songs! One is almost done. Effectively, he told me that a supporter of The Malibus has sended him lyrics for making these songs. I asked me who was this guy... Well, glad to know that's you! What's your name?
