A business man before anything, Uneek Ryda's music is the voice of the streets from a young hustler's perspective. The Long Beach native who grew up on Kurupt, Tupac, Ice Cube and Warren G has released multiple singles to the world via Imeem and MySpace. At the age of 21 his music is raw and hard hitting, strictly for the streets. "My music is real, it's something that comes straight from the soul," says Ryda. "I talk about the things I think need to be heard, from the party shit to the real shit, from my own eyes." Still on the grind to this date, the young Los Angeles County hustler is a force to be respected as the "New West" movement approaches the forefront. Working with fellow Long Beach native Jerzey J, Ryda expects to release a mixtape by the end of 2008.
