Wow, I never even SAW this section! Well hey everybody; my name is Tamias and I am a Golden-Mantled Ground Squirrel who was born in Yosemite National Park. I got into music when my adoptive guardian, Ben, was playing Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete on the confounded Play Station. I thought that was amazing; now I'm surrounded by Super Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and let me tell you something - I'm way out of my league. Perhaps squirrels were never meant to compose. But I'm having fun, and I think that's all that counts!

I wrote a new song yesterday and today called World Symphony, which might just become Tamias and the Furries' First single! It's a more serious song about how humans have distanced themselves from nature, and how the world can only be at peace when we live in harmony again. It's sadder and darker than the kinds of songs Tamias will usually sing... keep an eye out for parodies and comedies as well! My albums will be linked by message, not by genre...

Hiya! The first blog post by yours truly, the casual squirrel composer! I'll be honest... I didn't even know this whole section was here, for pictures and blogs and videos and things! This is so sweet! I'll be sure to update every time a new song comes out, even though I know no one reads this! Yay! My next song will likely be an original inspired by the incredible Enchanted -- if you haven't yet had the chance to see it, be sure you treat yourself.
