Full of Funk and Soul
Slapin Bass Studios is where the music is composed, arranged, and produced. Listening to funk, r'nb, and soul groups helped shape the taste of the music. Marion has been singing and playing keys since he was 7 years old, started playing the bass at the age of 10 and never looked back. The thought of forming a band was the next thing to do. So, a group of friends joined with him in creating the band "Potential". They played at dances, partys, rec centers, and battled other bands. They also played and listened to that famous home grown music in the D.C. area called "Go-Go." A lot of experience was gained playing in bands. He says, "Playing live instruments in a band allows you to show some expression for what you feel in a real artistic way." Music is something that he loves and hopes that everyone who visits this page enjoys the music.
