Hey all thanks for visiting our Powwow patio blog. This week our topic is Inspiration and change. For us, our inspiration is sparked by having a nice relaxing BBQ with a chilled glass of Trader Joe's "Charles Shaw" Chardonnay wine along with an occasional wine flavored "Black & Mild", and yes we said "Charles Shaw". We like to consider ourselves as leaders of a "New Era" with the souls of many of the 80's greats.."Tears For Fears", "Duran Duran", "Hall & Oates", "Culture Club", "Talking Heads", "Huey Lewis And The News" and "Pat Benetar" to name a few. Words can't describe the feelings that so many of those great songs from that era gave us, but it was definitely positive and inspirational. The new RKM Group release "Chaos" is a song that talks about the current state of the chaotic mind that many of us battle with inside our heads. Faced with the negative impacts of poverty, greed, unemployment, hunger, senseless murders, the loss of our homes etc, we tend to struggle with getting a grip on the one constant parallel which is "Hope". Although the saying "Think Positive" is easier said than done, and no single person or group of people can save the world, we believe that through our positive contributions of conscious creative effort we can enlighten, heal and uplift many with "Hope" for a positive change in their lives through our music and that's the message we wanted to get across with this song.
