My name is Brian Beecher. I live in Villa Park, IL, about 25 miles west of Chicago. I have had several occupations, and am in between at present. I have always been interested in music, especially the folk and country genres and some light pop as well. I can liesten to just about anything when the occasion calls for it. For most of my life have created song lyrics or glorified poetry. I am now in search of avenues to try and get published. Any useful information about copyright protection procedures would be greatly appreciated.

I have just posted my first demo, a trad country piece titled "Jeannie(I Didn't Mean to Hurt You). Hope you like it. Also hope that more will follow, and that one day it will reach the right person who can do something with it.
In addition to the one I posted at the beginning, I have two other pieces now on board. One is a soft-pop, somewhat reminiscent of the Dan Fogelberg-style ballad "Lady in Waiting", along with another trad-country style piece "Still On My Mind". Am hoping more will follow in the coming weeks and months. And again hoping to reach the right person who can do something with it.
