The future of rap and hip hop. WillI.E. Hommie blends a flawless flow and impeccable timing with incredible content and insight. "I have seen the world through your eyes, but have you seen it through mine." He has lived all across the U.S. a military baby born in Oceanside, CA he has also spent time in Bloomington, IN, Boston, MA, and Voorhees, NJ. But he has never left the streets of South Philly. He has lived all over Philly from West to the Bottom to Mount Erie, but the place he refers to as "The Heart of the City and South Philly Vietnam" has always been home. "I grew up in the Jungle (23rd and Pierce) but migrated to 24th and Moore and its been on since." He fell in love with hip-hop/rap when he heard Tupac's album Makaveli. "It was unbelievable the pain and the passion delivered with every word it just excited me. When I was raised my mom taught me about Malcolm X and M.L.K., and of course it was on a different level but it was still a single voice that could move a million." He started rapping with the same crew he is with today. "Back then we weren't the Mafia yet but you could see talent all within the group. Every one brought something different to the table." Like any rap crew or group of friends they had there ups and downs but now more then every they seem poised to make there mark on Phillys growing hip hop scene.
