Patrice grew up listening to classical music by Bach, Beethoven, Handel, Tchaikovsky, &c.

She's been singing - though not well - since she can remember.
She's played the guitar - terribly - since she was eleven.
(Thank you, Dad.)
While in middle and high school, Patrice wrote songs about unrequited love. (Figures.)
