D.N.P Born & raised in new Britain, CT. and Currently residing in Fayetteville, n.c. I introduce to you…. D.N.P (short for Dollars N Power). D.N.P is one of the few remaining artists to possess raw talent and creativity making his mark as to being the next best to do it.
D.N.P ‘s music comes from all types of angles of life, and he puts it in ways that almost anybody from all regions can relate to, be it north, south, east, or west. Unlike most artists today who seem scared to express themselves on record and stick to the formula of what’s hot now, D.N.P gives you himself as is from what he’s seen, done, and is living. No Bentley’s, 23’s, 100 ct Diamonds, or bricks, to best describe D.N.P’s music is theme music to inspire through the everyday struggles normal people go through, from the aspect of being a man. Since man is created imperfect, you get the contradictions and all from songs like “For Us” in which D.N.P writes a letter to that special woman, to “Mami Chula” the total opposite, in which D.N.P is still looking for someone to satisfy him.
D.N.P has been honing his skills since the age of 10. With long list of local performances, his website www.dnponline.net , a couple mixtapes under his belt, and a full length original album titled “On My Grind” AND OVER 1.95mil VIEWS ON MYSPACE, D.N.P is making his claim as the next best to do it a strong argument.
