Past the half century mark isn't so bad. It takes a few more days to heal, but then I'm not quite as anxious as in my youth. It's facinating to to find that over the years many who enjoy the richness of life have gravitated towards the freedom of expression and peace that can be shared in song. The genre, level of proficiency, or even choice of venues is in truth, justified by our desire to give, to share. And when we willingly share our talent, time, and treasured gifts without expectation, it is then I feel that we find the magic that is called music.
