5/16/2016 current audio project called "FREEDOM" with 2 songs being recorded at Layton DePenning's elmoslab.com in Buda, TX and several more songs being recorded at Bruce Newman's BarnStormersStudio.com in Austin, TX. As usual with my song projects the songs are unfinished. But I have been taking them to the AustinSongwritersGroup.com Tuesday "Song Doctor" and working with my wife Betsy on the words. Bruce and I have worked on the lyrics to "Can't Let Out Sail Anymore" trying to put a Mutiny on the Bounty background in. Many thanks to Lee Duffy and the ASG songwriters for their comments about my songs and how to make them better.
The second CD group is titled "WALK IN MY DREAMS TO DRIPPING SPRINGS TEXAS" and holds within it's boundaries a revamped, and reissued new version of the year 2000 released CD "WALK IN MY DREAMS". In the new version, all references to the city of Montgomery Texas have been replaced with references to the place that is about 15 miles west of the AUSTIN city limits on Hwy 290 west that is appropriately named DRIPPING SPRINGS, TEXAS. All of the locals just call it DRIPPIN because that is what the springs and creeks do in this area of Texas (that is if it has rained recently).
