I am a self taught classical guitarist , I fiest wanted to play the guitar after seeing the movie crossroads , i just knew i was meant to play the guitar , though i was in a jazz band in high school and played the bass i abandoned it for the guitar , i started learning how to raed and transpose bach, and mozrt from piano scores to solo guitar scores . Around that time( late 80s) i starting also transposing songs from the radio by ear , and writing them down so i could play them later . When i got older i hooked back up with a buddy of mine name Dennis greer who really passionatly believed in my work , so we recorded sevral rough tracks of our original music to wjzzs alexander zonjic, who i gave a cd to , and later spoke to on the phone , he complimented my music and told me i should be very proud , and i was! Later i started a band called illumination with a buddy of mine name donald Lewis we played on a weekly television show called hits and flix , we were the house band , All the while i was still writting tons of original guitar music ,though we could only play certain tunes ( were an r&b band) the crowd recieved us well. After leaving the band some seven years later i put my foot down and started children of a new jazz era to play this new jazz music that had to be played i couldnt hold my ideals back anymore , i had to live the dream ! So here is my work!
