Volatile was born and raised in New Jersey, spawning his hip hop career in high school with the rap group, "Primal Instinct." But Voli only realized his beat-making potential when he left the Garden State for Clark University in MA. After learning a few tips on the fundamentals of computer music from his freshman year roommate, he decided to put a hold on the lyrics to pursue hip hop production. It was only once Volatile's good friend Elite (producer of Jadakiss; "Shoot Outs" and "Why Remix") showed him how to up the ante and reinvent his sound that the level of music quality changed. Voli began to assist and learn the desires of today's industry artists by joining Elite's production ensemble. Soaking up everything he heard, Volatile revamped his sound so that it could appeal to any artist in the game, whether hardcore, commercial, or conscious. His style represents his name, which means highly changeable and explosive. Volatile continues to pursue projects, having worked with native Jersey artists such as Hypen-One and Pacewon of Outsiderz fame. Current projects also include Elite's rap group named, "The World", which will be a major label release, as well as additional production credits on the latest Lox album. This is only the beginning, and wherever hip hop takes us, Volatile will make a mark on this music industry.
