Well, it is a new year and I have some new music to share.
Ever since I was a young boy, I loved the power of music; my family all sang and played musical instruments. I first learned to play the guitar when I was 16 years-old and I was hooked. Shortly after learning my first three guitar chords I was well on my way to writing my first song -- a "love song" of course!
By the time I was 19 years-old, I was on the road playing six days a week in my first Rock n' Roll band called “ Young Street”; after three and half-years of the rock n’ roll life style I decided to focus on writing music with core Christian values in my message. I then went back to school and studied “Sound Recording and Engineering” at Humber College.
Later, I met my soul-mate (and mother of our three wonderful sons) and then played with some of her friends from McMaster University called “ The Swinish Multitude” (Celtic POP). We recorded the most expensive indie CD ever recorded :); I co-wrote the material with Nelson Stewart and co-produced the CD as well.
Now, I am a Singer/Songwriter/Engineer - I like to write all genres of music mainly from my home recording studio just outside of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Thanks for stopping by....
Peace,
Daniel J.
