BONEBAG. Ronald Utens (vocals, guitar) and Arno Menses (drums) hooked up and indulged in writing and recording songs.
Mike Palandeng (lead-guitar) was asked to join them to form a real band. The input of Mike provided the vibe Ronald and Arno where looking for and soon they had written enough material for their first mini cd "Positive" in 2003. highly acclaimed by press and music-lovers.
Martijn Horsten (bass) joined the band short after.
After the entrance of Marijn BONBAG recorded 5 more mini cd's (Dropping the Big One, Pinchin' a Loaf,
Fire 'n Steel, After Supper and Smell This). Press and "real" people have always been very supportive towards the albums but even more to the live shows. Because of Arno's close contact
with Break Out Promotion (Sieges Even, Jaded Heart) it was clear to offer them a cd with the best work of BONEBAG. BONEBAG got an offer from QuiXote Music (Germany) to have their debut recorded and released. Noli Me Tangere.....the name of the debut
by BONEBAG. Ten songs in which melody is the
keyword, but always staying true to the essence of music....."rock & roll".
