Donn-Dilla Da Great, was born Duwone Maurice Flowers in Chicago Ill. raised in cabrini-green on the nearnorth side of chicago. In 1989 he was influenced in life by his mother Brenda j. Montgomery-Smith and Donna e.Fulton and in music by , D.A Smart , Common , Big Krunch from ten-trey, Twista, ah-j, maurice"titan"smith and Rythme X to pursue a career in the music industry. In 1992 he decided to move to Lawrence , Kansas to attend college at K.U. But as life has proved its self time and time again the Donn never went to college.In 1995 he and some friends teamed up to start a record label called W.A.I.T.T records. The investors and owners consisted of Robert Martin (r.i.p) , Tony Gaines , Damien Shields , Wayne Martin ,and of course Eula Hole. A rap group was formed called the MOBTOWN HUSTLAS, with D.M.F and LIFE, the group had sparactics sells of their single release.But life stepped in and the group never saw stardom. D.M.F now known as Donn-Diila Da Great did 6 and a half years in prison, and is now working on his solo release called" CONNFESSIONS OF A GHETTO PRISONER", with producer Tony Gaines, and Shawn Mello Edwards . Waitt records is now owned and incorporated by Duwone and Donna Flowers and Randy Disoso. WAITT RECORDS has also started a group called HOOD ASYLUM which will include MAC MAN SUPREME, CHARLIE BLUNT, MELENA, AND DONNDIILA.
