As a teenager in the 60's I was brought up on a staple diet of Beatles, Stones and then Cream Music. Pretty much everything that made the 60's swing, including the Sunday Top 10 Countdown on the Radio ( Wireless or Tranny in those days)
Always a frustrated musician I took up guitar in 2000 and have progressed slowly but surely.
Still very much in Learning mode and playing mostly for myself at the moment ........leanings are mainly towards the blues genre and 60/ 70 Pop ....although I am not adverse to any well written song and good up and coming artist ie, KT Tunstall is superb !! and Joanne Shaw Taylor is a great find.
Otherwise just bring on the Old blues masters T-Bone Walker, Freddie King, Howling Wolf , Little Milton to name but a few
Always keen to learn new stuff ... as long as the fingers let me !!
