Asa has been carrying the name Intoxicated Fetus for 15 years. His first guitar teacher Jack Downey and he were jamming in the smoke break of USS PORT ROYAL when the name just came to him. "Asa, you have no soul and you ARE the Intoxicated Fetus." The name has stuck, but until Asa met Phil(drums)in late '06, he was unable to find other musicians who rock as hard as he did. Mike Reed joined in mid-'07 to contribute his sore throat and a chance re-aquaintance between Phil and Steve(bass) who had a successful collaboration called "U77", a cover band who has rocked numerous European and Asian countries and "rocked the rock" at the Hard Rock Cafe in Malta. This fast-food run-in led to Steve's joining the powerhouse cover band with aspirations to create originals that is...INTOXICATED FETUS.
