Shagontha Gordon LeGrand aka S.LeGrand is that rare artist that stands out above the rest. Originating out of Brooklyn, New York in the vein of artists before him that Fabolous, Jay-Z and the legendary late Biggie Smalls,S.LeGrand is destined to be the next great R&B lyricist/musician for the new generation of fans. With his status as an unsigned hype legend secure, he is set to make a dent in R&B Music Game . Born in New York's Crown Heights,Gontho recalls his earliest memories of music through his familys diverse musical talent in his GrandFather's house. Also known as "The Big House". It was while residing in the South that Shagontha honed his lyrical and singing abilities while presenting cyphers with old teenage friends around his middle school years.Influences such as Michael Jackson, R.Kelly, Ginuwine, Donell Jones gave Gontho his motivation. This "LeGrand" knows that his musical vision will continue to grow, and his business mind will benefit from his experiences. In the long run, he would like to see his peers and family name global. "I want my family's last name to evolve into a musical Giant and be regonize internationally," he explains.
