Al Wimer has been a truck mechanic working until the age of 35. I meet a friend that was a musician and asked him how to become a writer and start up a band. He said that I was to old so I thought I would prove to him that I was not that old. I then told my wife that I was going to start my band and play at bars, fellowship halls and for private parties. I have also kept a part time job selling cars.
Some of my songs have been THE TRAVELER, I'M NOT MUCH, and IT JUST CROSSED MY MIND, which has been published by Doubledraw Publishing.
Al Wimer has been singing throughout the Oregon and Washington Coast for the better part of Thirty years, Al is a lead singer, a Rhythm guitar and Base guitar player. He has played in bands for Charities and Benefits, Toys For Tots, Children For Change, The Red Cross, and many Homeless Benefits.
Al Wimer is a major Entertainer singing in Clubs around the Oregon coast.
Al is now singing Country music he has written for everyones enjoyment through his wonderful Songs and Writings.
