A DUAL RELEASE
A book and a CD is being released at the same time by FTH Music Company. We are expecting the book any time now. The song is posted on Soundclick. Please give a listen.
Lisa Carr, of Huntsville, AL was reading a preproduction copy of the book and learned that the song “Puppy Dogs and Country Girls (Don't Belong on City Streets)” took Julie Leigh, from The Bend of Paint Rock, AL to the top of all things Country. Whether the book is based on a real person or not, Lisa realized that the title song was worth recording. She brought the song to her husband, Doug Budzak (the couple owns Rockit Juice Audio, a local demo production recording studio) and the two of them went about recreating the song, using worn out copies of the original 40-yr-old recording as their reference point.
Please give a listen to the song written and originally recorded in the 1970s. We tried to keep it true to country music, especially as it was in the 70s. Hope you enjoy the song.
