Divine Harmony, was named in order to remind who hear our music, to keep our hearts and minds focused on our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Our group is based upon the truths of God's Word, which is evident in the songs we sing.
With over 40 years of Gospel/Christian Music experience between them, Divine Harmony currently consists of lead/baritone singer Darrell Hawkins from Montevallo, AL and bass singer Ken Dunkin from Oak Grove, AL.
We have had the opportunity to share the same stage with some of the finest groups in the industry over the past few years, whether it be The Imperials, Michael Combs, Squire and Sam Parsons, The Easter Brothers, Brothers Redeemed, Heavenly Sunrise Quartet, Evidence Pure Gospel, and many more.
Throughout our lives, it became clear to us that the Lord had placed only one calling in our hearts, and that was to sing praises to him and be His humble servants. If we, as Christians will only make ourselves available to Him, then He will place us where He will have us to be used in His ministry.
This is no doubt what our ministry is all about. We are not just great friends formed by chance, we are individuals, who by making ourselves available to the Lord, and were placed together to do the work of the Lord. We love the Lord and simply pray that He will use our group and our abilities to bring people closer to God and glorify His name. We want people to get excited about our Lord Jesus as we are, and learn what an exciting journey it can be
